Rico & Jia Yi Sunrise Prewedding Shoot in Singapore | Coney Island & Gallop Extension

Coney Island & Gallop Extension — one of our favourite spots

There’s something about sunrise shoots that just hits differently.

For Rico and Jia Yi, it meant an early wake-up call, a little adventure, and honestly… a bit of “bashing through the jungle” together. But that’s exactly what made this prewedding session so special.

Starting the day at Coney Island 🌿
We kicked things off at Coney Island, easily one of our favourite spots for prewedding shoots in Singapore. It’s raw, untouched, and just a little wild — in the best way. The kind of place where you don’t just “arrive”, you explore.

The morning was quiet, almost still. Just the sound of waves, rustling trees, and the two of them laughing as they made their way through sandy paths and hidden trails. And yes… there was a fair bit of jungle trekking involved.

So Rico and Jia Yi — thank you for waking up early and trusting us, even when the path got a bit muddy and unpredictable. Totally worth it.

As the sun slowly came up, the light wrapped around everything so softly. No crowds, no distractions — just the two of them, fully present in the moment.

A change of pace at Gallop Extension 🌿

After the adventure, we headed over to the Singapore Botanic Gardens Gallop Extension.

And this is where everything slowed down.

If Coney Island is wild and untamed, Gallop Extension feels calm, refined, and quietly beautiful. The colonial-style buildings paired with lush greenery create this timeless backdrop that never gets old.

It’s one of those places where you don’t need to try too hard — just being there already feels special.

Rico and Jia Yi settled right into it. No rush, no pressure. Just easy moments, soft light, and genuine connection.

Why we love sunrise prewedding shoots

There’s a reason we keep coming back to sunrise sessions. It’s quiet, It’s cooler (honestly a big win in Singapore) And the light? Always soft, always flattering

But more than that, it gives couples space. Space to slow down, to be themselves, and to really enjoy the process — instead of rushing from spot to spot.

A morning to remember

Rico and Jia Yi’s shoot felt like a little journey.

From trekking through Coney Island’s hidden paths to soaking in the calm at Gallop Extension, it was the kind of morning that reminds us why we love what we do.

Simple, real, and full of heart.

If you’re thinking about doing a prewedding shoot in Singapore, sunrise might just be the best decision you’ll make.
